Our Fishing Tournament Charter Details
Price includes charter fees and limited Calcuttas*
- With each tournament, the "across the board" entry is quite costly, and we like to target specifically big money fish and win overall in our boat class. This allows us to offer an affordable entry for some of the greatest fishing tournaments in the world.
Become part of a Tournament Fishing Team
- Once we hit the minimum participants, we will send out a group email to get everyone on the same page. Prior to the tournament (1 or 2 days), we will set up a team meeting and get everyone familiar with what lies ahead. We also get to know everyone's familiarity with offshore fishing and can assign roles as well as go over drills for what happens when we catch "THE BIG ONE"! Angler doesn't matter for the prize split. Heck, you could get drunk all night after the team meeting and miss the boat on the first day of the White Marlin Open! - We've seen it. (please don't be drunk on tournament days)
70/30 Prize Split
- Well of course the boat takes a cut! Ours is 30% and standard for charters on these tournaments. There is a LOT of extra work and expense for the captain and crew on these tournaments and it is exhausting. Still Lucky has been featured in the Coastal Fisherman MANY times and is well known to catch fish. Total tournament winnings could be in the several hundred thousand to $1m+ range!
Anglers - Min 4 / Max 6
- We are capable of hitting the essential calcuttas with a minimum of 4 participants and gathering a nice chunk of the overall with the maximum of 6 anglers. You can review previous calcutta fees for the tournaments below.
Contracts and Agreements
- As an angler, you will need to sign a tournament specific contract as well as a normal charter contract. Both rules apply and are taken seriously for tournaments, please read them carefully and ensure you understand them completely.
